Health Care

        Health care is a misnomer. A person should care for his own health. It should never be a province of the federal government to mandate how a person should live his/her life or any requirements about living.

            The only aspect of health the federal government should be involved with is the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases. This should be accomplished by communication only.

            States can and do have Health Depts. and should be involved in detecting health concerns The develpement of vaccines is much more effecctive when done privately and with no cost to the public. 

            Local health Depts. can be utilized to handle outbreaks of infectious diseases such as at schools and businesses.

            Let the market handle safety situations. We live in a world where people can simply walk off the job if it is too dangerous and the business will make it safe or as safe as possible. I don’t believe we need a nanny government mandating to knowledgeable people how to operate their businesses
